There are two different types of Oticon Corda Domes. The choice of dome alters the sound characteristics.
Open Domes:
The open domes are suitable for those who do not want a closed feeling in the ear canal and occlusion. The domes ensure significant ventilation in the ear canal. Used for mild to moderate amplification needs.
Plus Domes:
The plus dome has an increasing pointed shape and therefore has properties from both the closed and open domes. It provides a ventilating effect in the ear canal while delivering a more intense sound experience.
Power Domes:
The power dome provides the most intense sound experience. It is made with two seals that ensure a good fit and completely exclude other sounds. The power dome is the least ventilating dome and thus the dome with the most occluded feeling.
