WaxGuard HF3

HF3 wax filter set for hearing aids. Intended functional role: barrier component positioned at the sound outlet to reduce ingress of earwax and debris into the device.

Compatibility: for in-ear hearing aids and selected behind-the-ear hearing aids with receiver/speaker located in the ear canal.

Technical data: diameter 3 mm. Color coding: red and blue.

Package contents: 16 HF3 wax filters (8 red, 8 blue) and 1 replacement tool.

Replacement procedure (tool-assisted):
1. Locate the sound outlet.
2. Insert the threaded end of the tool into the installed filter and rotate clockwise.
3. Pull to remove the used filter.
4. Place the used filter into the disposal opening in the filter wheel and release it.
5. Turn the tool to the opposite end.
6. Press the tool tip into the center of a new filter in the wheel and pull it out.
7. Align the new filter with the sound outlet.
8. Press the filter into place with light rocking until seated.
